The subjunctive is a very long and complicated topic that would need chapters of a book in order to fully comprehend it. Your question can't be solved in a short comment on this app, and especially not by native speakers, who just know how to use it instinctively and don't really understand the grammar behind it.

The best I can do is to forward you to Spanishdict. It's one of the best websites for learning Spanish, since it is very complete. They have lots of lessons on the subjunctive mood, but I recommend you do the whole Spanish course from the beginning. It's totally free (you do get ads though, but it's a small price to pay.)
