¿Cómo dices esto en Español (México)? Oh, come on, how did that even connect? The hitbox on that thing is way too generous. They should at least make it match the actual projectile, so you actually need some skill and can't just land it blindfolded.

El contexto es que alguien está hablando de una habilidad en un videojuego y no cree que sea justo.

@thejooshuabear "Hitbox" es la palabra para referirse al área de una habilidad en la que la habilidad cuenta como hacer contacto si toca a alguien. Si el área es demasiado grande, la habilidad podría ser muy facil de golpear, e incluso podría contar como hacer contacto cuando el proyectil visible de la habilidad claramente no lo hizo.

Un ejemplo, desde el lanzamiento inicial del juego Overwatch. La flecha mataba al jugador cuando era imposible que la flecha tocara al jugador, porque el "hitbox" era mucho más grande que la flecha.

(But with like this emoji 🙄 you can use “Vamos” to cheer for someone, and “enserio” for questions, like “really!?”, but in spanish we use those words like “come on” too, but with an annoying tone). ¿Cómo incluso se pudo conectar? El hitbox (I’ve searched how we call it in spanish but i didnt find anything, i think we use the same word. I didn’t know what was the meaning but i think if you are talking with someone about something related to videogames, both will know the meaning ). El hitbox en esa cosa es demasiado generoso/ débil, idk 100% if it is correct sorry 😞 , if you talk with a gamer it will be so much easy ‘cause he’ll know that vocab. I didn't know you could use "vamos" like that, to indicate annoyance or frustration! I'll keep that in mind. It's also similar to "come on" in that they can both be used to encourage people to do things, so it makes sense.

To add some information, "connect" and "land" in this context refer to the ability making contact (hitting). Being able to land the ability blindfolded means that, even if you're not looking at the screen, you can still hit someone with it, because you don't even have to look at the target in order to hit it.

"Generous" here means that the hitbox makes the ability count as a hit when it probably shouldn't (like how a generous person gives people things when they're not obliged to do so).
