In some countries, like Germany one has to register with an ID card to obtain a prepaid SIM card. And the only place to get a prepaid SIM card is an actual branch of the mobile provider. While in some other countries, there is no need to register with an ID card and one can get an a prepaid SIM card in e.g. a gas station / a grocery store.

Two questions please:

1) Is it necessary to register with an ID card in a branch of a mobile service provider to get a prepaid SIM card in Denmark?

2) Is it possible to buy a prepaid SIM card in a gas station / grocery store in Denmark?

I haven’t personally seen anywhere where you had to register with an ID card. I know that we have stores both physical and online where you can buy small SIM cards, known as taletidskort. It’s the prepaid one.
I don’t know all the specific places that you can buy them. But I’ve seen them in multiple grocery stores like netto for example.
