Why "I would like" would leave a bad impression to others?
Why "I would like" would leave a bad impression to others?
As my friends told me it's not very courtesy to use "I would like" or "I want" when writing an email to my professor. But why? Is it full of obligation or something like that?

If you're addressing someone of higher status, it can be considered rude to focus on your needs when making a request. Instead, you would say:
"What works for you?"
Or something similar, and then see what you able to do, based on that.

^^I agree. Also you can use " would it be possible" if you are asking for something like an appointment with the professor or a recommendation letter

Thanks! I hope my professor wouldn't be angry with my previous rudeness. Haha😬
