الفرع ممكن ان يكون فرع شجرة او فرع شركة او فرع مؤسسة (branch)
اما الغصن فلا يكون الا للاشجار
غصن الشجرة او غصين الشجرة
for trees and plants they are basically the same :)

فرع و غصن have the same meaning if u talking about trees
But you can use فرع as Maenag said if you are talking about a company. Also, it's better to use غصن if you are talking about tree more than فرع..

بالنسبة للشجر فلهما نفس المعنى
لكن كلمة فرع تستخدم في معاني أخرى مثل فرع شركة او فرع مكتب

it's mean many meaning according to context in the context of agriculture and plants the branches of a tree are the parts that grow out from its trunk and have leaves, flowers, or fruit growing on the but in anther context like business a branch of a business or other organization is one of the offices, stores, or groups which belong to it mean many "فرع"
