@spalash Pure Hindi and pure Urdu aren't real languages. To be real, they need to have native speakers. All native speakers are native in Colloquial Hindi-Urdu. Hindi is a sanskritised register, marking negative for that is justified. But essentially, they are the same language in different registers. Linguistics doesn't work with politics, so what the government does is out of question. Also, when they say that Hindi is spoken by a large population in the world, they count Urdu speakers.

@spalash pure Hindi speakers learn it later in their lives. Also, in global censusses, Hindi and Urdu speakers are counted together

.@spalash in global censusses, they are combined. Indian census is done by the government. Some global censusses are free of influence from governments
 Serbian and Croatian are counted together too

"Dhnyawaad" is Thank you. You can also say shukriya (like shukaran in Arabic) but it not an Hindi word, however people understand and use it. There ia no specific word for welcome in Hindi.

@joaodsouza I would differ from that opinion. They are very similar and have same root, but when one speaks pure Urdu and pure Hindi they are not that much intangible. Please refer to this video for further information.

The spoken language may seem like same language but in literary forms they are very different. Even Government of India acknowledges that they are different but giving Hindi and Urdu, both the official language status separately. In our casual speeches we may use "shukariya" but as most of us must have encountered using "shukariya" in a Hindi exam was a sin and marks were heavily deducted for it during board exams as it is technically not a Hindi word.

@joaodsouza Well Urdu speakers are not counted among Hindi speakers generally. Lets stick with our opinions. BTW pure Hindi speakers they do exist. I don't know about pure Urdu though.

@sadeenbakkar you can use both dhanyabad and shukriya. but 'aapka swagat hai' is used more often when welcoming someone in your house or something....I use 'kot bat nahi' more oftenly because it means "its okay you don't need to say thanks". And to be honest Indian people usually use the english 'thank you' and 'welcome' more

There is no particular way of saying you're welcome (as a reply to thank you) in Hindi. 
But you can say - Koi baat nahi.
This is more like saying- it's alright or mention not.
