All these words are fine to use. Aroma or fragrance give a more sophisticated impression, since they are usually good smells, while smell is just, well, smell.

Tough question even for me as a native speaker, because they all could be correct in my opinion, except I probably would never say fragrance in that context.
Honestly I would probably choose "scent" over all those..

fragrance is correct here. Aroma is usually associated with food like coffee. Fragrance is associated with flowers. Smell is a much broader term for which can either be positive or negative.
