Many lawmakers believe it is a good idea to ban all smoking in public in Japan. Explain why you agree or disagree with this opinion.
My answer:
I agree with this idea. I often meet people who are smoking at restaurants. Even if a restaurant sets a smoking area up, it wouldn't stop the quality of the air from becoming bad. Smokers might feel good , but non-smokers suffer and have trouble. I have asthma so I may have an asthma attack in polluted air. Clean air is necessary for me. Moreover , l often catch sights of people who are smoking on the road on my way to school. Many people are inconvenienced just because of smokers who smokes on the road. For example , people who have allergies like me , little children whose faces are at the same position as a smoker's hand which has a cigarette and even healthy people. I heard that people around smokers have more health problems than smokers themselves. I think the government should regulate smokers more aggressively.
