No. You'd just say that you're an amateur. There isn't any kind of word/phrase for this to my knowledge.

"Dime store", to me, means they/it/whatever is everywhere and common, like the phrase "a dime a dozen."

The phrase "dime-store" means cheap and of poor quality. For example a "dime-store security guard" would be really cheap to hire but he would not do a good job.
