I don't have an issue with him... people are quick to say he's an idiot and all the changes he's making are dumb...

That would most likely depend on what political values you align yourself with. From my understanding, his approval ratings were quite high the last time I checked, though this number fluctuates and may have changed.
Candidly speaking, though... I feel very fortunate that he is our Prime Minister. Overall, his political values reflect mine and that of many of my peers.

@saralynnfontes His political values reflects mine too and I'm very jealous of you all, but it's easy to say someone's prime minister is better than yours and you don't know how the people in the country feel about him, so I was just curious how his people saw him, just that

Well, he does have a fair amount of backlash. Mostly people who don't believe he has enough experience to run a country. Although I imagine that's the case for any politician. Since I'm not in opposition though I can't really explain what they don't like...

Canadians are very divided on him. People who like him, really like him, and people who hate him, really hate him. His approval ratings are higher now than when he was elected in 2015, though. If an election were held tomorrow, he'd win with a larger majority than he has now.
Complaints about him come from both the left and the right, and from those who are disappointed with his broken promises.
Personally, I think he's been good for Canada's international reputation, and I think he was a better choice than the other party leaders, but I don't think he's accomplished much. I'm particularly upset that he reneged on a promise to restore expat voting rights.
