you could use any word similar to big before 'city', maybe like 'a really populated city' or 'a huge city' or 'a large city' if that helps :)

It really depends on how you feel about the size of the city. If the largeness of the city is bad, you could use words like noisy, rushed, overwhelming, or crowded. If the city's size is a good thing, then words like bright, beautiful, and inspiring would be more appropriate. If there is no personal bias on the city, you could say loud, large, or bustling.
