How poetic! I would suggest one difference, though. "Embrace the dazzling sadness of a million suns" would make more sense. Here's a version with slightly spruced up vocabulary if you're interested! Not necessary, but I just thought I would show you a bit more intricate way that you could say the same thing.
"When I catch the scent of the lilac flowers, my enduring memories embrace the dazzling sadness of a million suns. I set my head against the window of the bus and sob. (Or weep, if you want to convey a deeper sadness)"
