¿Cuál es la diferencia entre if it be on the weekend or if it be during the work week. y if it is on the weekend or if it is during the work week. ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

First one has seemed strange to me. There isn't any modal why "be" is used instead of "is" in that sentence. Are both correct?

Most people just use "is", it feels more natural to say "is", but "be" is also correct.
