Face lit with determination doesn't make much sense to me as I think lit isn't being used in the right context maybe just "she gazes at the white mountains on the pamphlet, face burning with determination." That sounds better plus you missed out 'the' after she gazes at because she gazes at White mountains doesn't make sense. I hope this helps!

If you're writing a book, phrases like these help people get in depth with the emotion felt in it. Over all, the grammar is right and I think it's very good. It's not something you would use commonly when talking to someone though.

your sentence needs to stay in the same tense. "She gaze(d) at the white mountains on the pamphlet and her face lit up with determination."
