"thrilled" describes a person who feels very happy. For instance, when you got a birthday present from your parents when you were little, you were thrilled.
"grieved" describes a person who is very sad. Like when people losts someone who is very important to them, they are grieved.
"joyful" means a person is happy. In my opinion, when people are spending quality time with people they love, they becomes joyful people.
