I think the stereotype is that French people are fancy and kind of stuck up. That they have fancy and good quality foods. That they have strong accents.

@Olivia78 I've seen the stereotype where people say French girls are hot. This might stem from the American classic movie the Titanic and the quote "Draw me like one of your French girls."
A very common stereotype is that France is a city of love.
