El resumen is like a summary, somewhere you synthesize your thoughts or ideas. I don't get your point with El abstracto but anyway, abstracto means abstract, something that is difficult to imagine from a real perspective.

okay a compendio is a group of people, as group that has like a common thing to do, a summary is just a thing regarding texts or a summary of your day. Do you get my point?
