@IlyaCheh No. Humidity describes a situation where there is both heat and water. Not just heat. Moisture can be used to describe water alone without heat.
eg. When it is humid, it is always moist. But when it is moist, it is not always humid.

Humid is usually a word used to describe the amount of water in the air.
'It is very humid in the Philippines.'
Moist is a word to describe the amount of water (or any liquid) on or in an object.
'The cake was still moist.'

I don't particularly agree. While humid cannot be used to describe the amount of water in or on an object, moist CAN be used to described the amount of water in the air. Also, humid, in common usage, almost always suggests heat. If you enter a cold room which has water artificially added to the air by a mister, you would not say it is humid.

I checked humid in the dictionary and it just said containing a high amount of water vapour... but yes people generally associate the word humid with heat and moisture whereas moisture is, as said, just wet.
I apologize for any confusion.
