¿Cuál es la diferencia entre absurd y weird y odd y ridiculous ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

Weird and odd are basically the same, meaning "not normal". Ridiculous often means "weird" but mainly "laughable". Absurd is basically "unreasonable" or "illogical", when talking about someone's idea or suggestion. We often say "That's absurd!! (about what they just said)" But you can also say someone is "being absurd" or something "looks absurd."

"absurd" and "ridiculous" can be a person or maybe a situation that's funny or is almost unreal or improbable (like in a satire). Those two are pretty close.

"weird" is more 'not-normal' or 'strange.' It's very close to odd and if you use them to describe people it can be a bad thing. In some ways it can be something that doesn't feel right, like, "that empty house is weird and creepy."

On what you have said, Syd, I would say "Ridiculous" is a bit more on the funny side, in my personal experience. But I do agree with all you have said.
