Poco natural
It sounds natural, but "did" implies having to write kanji or read it or something (produce it), which can be meaningless without context.
For example:
A: "Ah, that test was so tough!"
B: "You did kanji (on the test)?"
Is different from:
A: "Did you do the homework yet?"
B: "No not yet, but do you have the kanji section finished?"
