The modern Hebrew printed "block" alphabet is one version of the ancient aramaic alphabet. In this way you can consider them to be the same alphabet. They have the exact same number of letters and each letter has the same name and same pronunciation if comparing ancient Hebrew to ancient aramaic.
Ancient aramaic alphabet had a lot of other script descend from it but the main one for right now is modern aramaic (also called syriac). The letters are different from one another but as far as I know there is a one to one letter correspondence.
The two ancient languages did have very similar sounds, but this is not the case today due to sound changes in aramaic and especially the major sound changes of modern Hebrew. But aramaic can be (and often is) written in the Hebrew alphabet, and they have the exact same letters, but the pronunciation is slight different.
Hope this helps
