certainty
-the first one is showing that you are sure about it. you bought it in order to give to him.
- the second is saying that the second part (intending to give it to him) didn't happen; the whole thought didn't come to you while you were buying the film
- Inglés (US)
the second version is past tense, "would have" also implies now you are not. intended is also past tense also impling the you are now not going to. the correct way is
" I bought the movie, I intend to give it to my son, as a gift." also "Im going to buy this film, I want to give it to my son, as a gift."

Many thanks to reply my question. So, is the second sentence correct in terms of grammar? I think first is absolutely correct, but I do not know whether the second is correct or not.

@ssts1989
wait...
Your first sentence is stating that your "intention" came before you bought the film. is that what you want to say???
Or are you saying you bought it so you could give it to him?
Because if you are going to give it to him...
"I bought the film which I intend to give it to my son as a gift."
-this is saying you will give it to him.
The second one is alot more complicate to explain. Right now I would go with the first one
