Hello,cool,that you're listening to Dutch music to begin with,some other good stuff is Golden Earring(they only sing in English though) when you translate this lyric,it turns in the day that you disappeared,die means that,I hope it makes sense,try listening to Van Dik Hout,Blof,Boudewijn De Groot,Heideroosjes,Partysquad ft. dio,etc,or just check out youtube😉🤘enjoy

In this case, ´dat´ isn´t referring to ´dag´ but it belongs to rest of the sentence where it is explained what happened (dat jij verdween).
