What kind of music is the most popular in Canada? Would you recommend me some singers/groups? English and french, please.

Simple Plan would fit both categories! They have songs in English and French (and even a song with Japanese One Ok Rock lead singer Taka) but there’s also Rush (classic rock), Billy Talent, Marianas Trench, Great Big Sea, Nickelback (who get stupid amounts of hate for some reason), Tragically Hip, Neil Young, BTO, The Guess Who, Barenaked Ladies, Alanis Morisette, Our Lady Peace... so much Canadian talent ❤️
