¿Cuál es la diferencia entre bring y take ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

I dont understand the difference between "bring a picnic" and "take a picnic" in the sentences below. Please let me know!

(On the phone) can we come over on sunday? We will bring a picnic.

Let's go and see aunt may on sunday. We can take a picnic.

It's about direction.

For "bring", the emphasis is on *the place you are going to*. You are bringing whatever it is *to* the location, to someone else who is *already there*.

For "take", the emphasis is on *the place you are coming from*. You are taking whatever it is *from* the location you are in.

Bring = giving. Take = taking away. Bring: "I'm bring food to the party." Take: "I'm taking some food home from the party."
