How do you call the value before some units like 100mg which is used as base unit.

sometimes goods not count with the common units, that just makes them hard to understand or evaluate. eg: one shop may never sell you 1 gr of pepper and not price it like 1gr =0.000001 dollar but sells it in 100gr or multitutedes of 100gr parts. and price would be 5 dollar for 100gr.
So how can I call this 100, is it sth like size of unit?

I would just call it an amount (in general). So 100 would be the amount and mg would be your unit of measurement.

@ungabunga: I'm not sure if you're refering to grams which the unit would be just 'g' and milligrams would be 'mg' which is equal to 0.001g.

we might use the term "per unit" price or cost. e.g., $3.00/ liter. of water would be $.003/ml. vs. $2.00/ half-liter bottle = $.004/ml. this allows for price comparison when items are sold in different package sizes.

@Doomsdude, I'm sorry it's my bad I mixed mg and g(or gr) in the same example. The unit doesn't doesn't matter, I want to name the "100" part of "$5 per 100gr" .

I would sale that is you "minimum quantity", it is the smallest amount of the item that you are willing to sell. It is the balance point where you are happy with your profit margin and the customer is willing to pay that unit price.

@jancie, thanks for answer, it's not exactly what I want but I guess there is no answer. Even in my native language all I can produce something like what you said. and we don't call it with a name but we ask a question eg: "How much/many liter is $5." The more I try to come up an idea, makes me feel dumber.
What do you think if I call it "unit size" as a term, when some one ask the I can explain once and it would be ok after that.
