@CityWok I would say "bring this topic up later," "bring up this topic again later," "bring it up later," "bring it back up later," or even "bring it back up again later"
I would always include up. To me, "back" and "up" are not interchangeable.

Back up mean reverse , I don't know which situation you are looking for
But if you mean later you can bring it back, it's the second one

“Bring it up” is a common phrase that means “to introduce a topic,” so #1 sounds more natural.

@CityWok Funny, as an American I find that the first one is correct.
"bring up" is an inseparable verb.
"bring" (by itself) is a different verb.
"bring" - 가져오다
"bring up" - 뭐에 때해 이야기 시작하다
"bring" is used on physical objects. (펜 기져왔어)
"bring up" is used on topics. "She suddenly started talking about dogs" -> She suddenly brought up her ex-husband.
--------
"Bring back" sounds flashy. It has a different meaning. Almost like to present again. Kind of like 제기하다 but about good things.

@prismo Thx! I'm still confused whether "bring back up" is right or "bring up" is right in above the sentence.

@CityWok The thing is, they could both be correct depending on the usage.
For bring up, it would be if this is your first time “bringing up” a topic with a certain person. “Bring back up” is used when you already first introduced the topic and he says that bring the topic “back up” so they can talk about it.
It thought about this for a while. I imagined an object water. For the bring back up, I imagined that the objected was deep in the water and then it is literally “brough back up” over the surface. I don’t know if this helps, but I hope you’ll understand it soon. 😊😊
